PEP Artisan Bakers has been proudly baking in Essendon since 2015, founded from a passion for breadmaking and a love of Italian fermented bread culture. We are dedicated to refining traditional techniques passed down through experience, while bringing a fresh sense of innovation to the products we create.
With us, you’ll find more than just bread and pizza. We also make a range of pasticceria classics, along with our much loved seasonal panettone and Colomba, which are a special part of what we do each year.
Artisan crafted and stone baked, each loaf combines quality ingredients with passion, hard work, and integrity, all lovingly hand-made by our bakers.
When the season calls, we make Panettone for Christmas and Colomba for Easter, each crafted fresh in Melbourne using our famous 80-year-old Mother Yeast to create something truly special.

We import a selection of high-quality Italian flours, specially crafted to offer the ideal strength and elasticity for perfect bread, pasta, pizzas, and other baked goods.
A curated range is available at our Essendon store, and our flours are also offered wholesale.
